PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
VILLA.
MARA 17
White planes. Green spill. Open daylight.
Casa Mara begins in daylight. Where the other houses are drawn at dusk, this one stands in full sun — a composition of clean white planes against a bright sky, crisp and open, with dark slatted screens set into the white like quiet punctuation. A planter of green spills over the entrance, softening the geometry the moment you arrive.
The materials are light and precise. White stucco, pale stone steps, slatted timber at the door, black-framed glass rising the full height of the double entry. Nothing is heavy; the house feels drawn in clear line and open air.
Inside, the mood turns warm and lived-in. Rooms open to garden views through tall windows; the dining room gathers around olive-green and blush seating; the lounge rests in soft neutral tones under a branching light. Color enters gently, and daylight carries through every space.
Designed for Punta Cana Village, Casa Mara feels bright and unguarded — a house that keeps its face to the sun.
