Casa Raíz begins underground, in spirit. Where other houses sit on the land, this one takes hold of it — concrete walls curve and bend as if grown rather than poured, corners rounded soft, edges pulled back into the earth. Vines spill from every ledge like roots reaching down for water.

The mass is heavy but never hard. Board-marked concrete meets warm teak shutters; arches soften every threshold; light pools in the curves instead of cutting across them. Green enters everywhere — hanging from balconies, climbing the walls, framed in every window — until it's hard to say where the jungle ends and the house begins.

Inside, ceilings sweep upward in long concrete curves and the living spaces open fully to the pool and the palms. Cool stone floors, rounded walls, the constant presence of plants: the interior breathes like the forest it belongs to.
