TULUM, MEXICO

CASA.
RAIZ

Curved concrete. Living walls. Jungle from within.

Casa Raíz doesn't impose itself on the landscape — it grows from it. The forms are rounded, almost geological, as if the concrete had been shaped by water and time rather than by hand. Vines descend from every ledge. The jungle doesn't surround this house; it passes through it.

There are no hard edges here. Openings are carved, not cut — wide arches that frame palms like paintings, louvred wood that filters light into something slow and amber. The interior follows the same logic: raw concrete overhead, natural materials underfoot, and always, through every window, the green pressing in.

Built in Tulum, Casa Raíz is a house that knows it belongs to the land more than to whoever lives in it — and makes no apology for that.
